Mat 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and men of violence take it by force.

The Lord told satan, you may go only so far and no further.

Say: This far and no more!

Job 2:6 9 don’t touch his life.
The NIV You must spare his life.

The Kingdom of Heaven Suffers Violence!

Violence refers to intensity.
Violence refers to Spiritual Warfare.

Intensity requires to persevere in following God.

In trusting God.
In obeying God.
In depending on God, and his word.

We need to understand and see that the Kingdom of Heaven is within us, with in you!

Joh 3:1 Now there was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
Joh 3:2 the same came unto him by night, and said to him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that thou doest, except God be with him.
Joh 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born anew, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Joh 3:4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God!

We are born again and Gods Spirit is with in us.
Power is in us!

1Jn 4:4 Ye are of God, my little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world

Greater is he that is in you!

The Son of God.
The Kingdom of God.
Gods Spirit.

Again the Kingdom of God is with in you.

We have all of God.

So if the Kingdom of God is with in you, then the power or the Kingdom of darness, satan is on the outside of you, trying to get in.

Whats happening on the outside, trying to get in?

War
Violence
Suffering
Body
Soul
Spirit

Why is there a great war going on?

The distraction.

Distractions of Pain that would hinder the Christian believer from.

Praise and Worship.
Peace.
Joy.
Freedom.
The presence of God and his Glory, all this is taking place on the inside the Body soul inward moving of the power of God.

Let me ask you a question?

Is there a power of violence that is going on, in your life?

Violence that can take the kingdom of heaven in you by force?

You say?

We are saved.
We are the children of God.
Yes and Yes!

A person could be suffering in their body, or in the leg, or in the head, or in the shoulder, etc.

Here we see that the kingdom of God is suffering Violence, because they have pain, difficulty in their body.

What happens then is that the pain takes captive in the Mind.

The Mind is a Highest place (enthroned position) that does to the heart.

Enthroned position:

We need to treat the situation, the pain, as an enemy, as the power of satan coming against the kingdom of God.

we must say by the power of God!
I command you ( ? ) in Jesus name, come out , let loose be healed etc.

Right now put your hand upon were it hurts, your body or the person who is going through something.

You can do that!!

Remember greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.
or greater is he than any power of satan that tries to come against you or around you.

Gods power is greater than the power that is binding you or your loved one.

I’m here to say its time to take a new step!

Mat 8:17 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying: Himself took our infirmities, and bare our diseases.

Psa 119:50 This is my comfort in my affliction; For thy word hath quickened me.

Remember we are in Christ and the Gates of hell will not prevail against it.

Mat 16:18 And I also say unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.
Mat 16:19 I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Are you suffering?

Spiritual Growth does not depend on what is happening around you, but what is happening inside you.
Whats inside you will come out , the good or the bad.

Growth comes from the inside out!
1. Full grown oak trees don’t just appear.
2. neither do full grown christians, they mature over time.

We must always keep in mind that spiritual growth is a process, expanding and releasing what is on the inside, so that it becomes Visible on the outside.

Like gold Refined in the fire, so are you!

so when pressure come our way and we break what comes out of us what are we full of?

1Ki 19:21 And he returned from following him, and took the yoke of oxen, and slew them, and boiled their flesh with the instruments of the oxen, and gave unto the people, and they did eat. Then he arose, and went after Elijah, and ministered unto him.

Unseized Moment ……

Luk 9:56 And they went to another village.
Luk 9:57 And as they went on the way, a certain man said unto him, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.
Luk 9:58 And Jesus said unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the heaven have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

Jesus saw the mans walk, the mans work, the mans commitment, the motivation and Jesus saw his divided loyalty, Jesus saw the mans heart.

Man looketh on the outward appearance God looks at the Heart.

1Sa 16:6 And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely Jehovah’s anointed is before him.
1Sa 16:7 But Jehovah said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have rejected him: for Jehovah seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but Jehovah looketh on the heart.

Luke 9:62 But Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

What was Jesus saying?

1. Dont have a divided Heart!
2. Don’t be half Hearted!

When you run a race don’t you run to win?

Let me ask you this question?
Is your heart divided?

Jesus knew the mans heart and that he or she was not ready to give himself or herself, whole hearted to following the Lord, what about you?

Do you know that in Israel it is said that almost no rain will fall from may to oct.

The ground remains dry and hard.

The farmer must seize the moment and decide quickly to do something.
It don’t matter what time of the day it is or if they had something else planned, when the rain comes, it time to plant the crops.

So what was Jesus saying?

If you leave to say good by you will never return…. WoW.

You must put your hands to the plow and follow me.

We must beware of unseized moments in our life time, God moves us to make a change in life and God calls us to follow him (NOW)!!

Why because if not, the day will turn to weeks to months yes yrs, to a lifetime of wasted moments that were not seized.

What was the root problem to the man….
Lord I will follow you (BUT).

We say I will do this BUT!!

BUT!!
I will follow you on my own terms my own conditions.
Our commitment must be 100%

unreserved and immediate!
If not its no commitment.

James 2:14 What doth it profit, my brethren, if a man say he hath faith, but have not works? can that faith save him?

Other words putting feet to our faith, our commitment to his vision to his calling etc.
Putting your hands to the plow!

What about you?

Have you experienced unseized moments in your life, that you wish you could get back, know this that God is a God of second chances.
And for some third and fourth don’t give up.

Remember Jonah when God told him to Preach the Gospel, he ran the other way didn’t seize the moment and found himself in the belly of a whale being vomited out and given a second chance to seize that moment.

I think about Revelation when he said to the Church or we can say to the individual don’t be lukewarm or I will vomite you out of my mouth, those are hard words to receive but very true.

Jesus also incouraged one of the Churches or we can also say person to not forsake your first love.
and again he said to another behold I stand at the door and Knock (seize the moment) if any one opens the door (seize the moment) I will come and sup HAVE FELLOWSHIP etc with him and he with me.

Sieze the Moment!
Open the Door!!

You can start right were you are at now, and begin to seize the moment……

Elisha Seized the Moment ……..
You can to!!!!!

Elisha siezed the moment, and followed Elijah whole hearted not turning back, and look at what he did in verse 21

And he returned from following him, and took the yoke of oxen, and slew them, and boiled their flesh with the instruments of the oxen, and gave unto the people, and they did eat. Then he arose, and went after Elijah, and ministered unto him.

I call that seizing the moment….

Do you say I have a lot on my Mind (Thoughts).
Proverbs 24:32-34

32 And as I gazed at it, I reflected; I saw and learned the lesson:

33 A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the arms to rest –

34 Then will poverty come upon you like a highwayman, and want like an armed man.

We see that Proverbs makes it clear that we will not fall into the deep pits of sin etc over night.
It’s a gradual process (a little sleep, a little Folding of the arms to rest)

1. we begin to rest and become complacent in our Faith Walk (gradually not over night) like a slow train coming.

2. We don’t Guard our Thoughts, so then what takes place our focus begin to go to the World (negative thoughts).
And the focus we have on the Lord falls away.

We must Guard our thoughts and action or we will fall to sin.
We can take small steps to faith or to sin, what will it be?

If we spend more time in the newspaper, computer, world, Sports, and less time in the bible we will become weaker in the Lord and the Word of God, and our Faith Journey, Faith Walk will suffer.

Have You Been Taken Hostage Today?
Don’t let things Thought etc, rent space in your head!!

We are what we Think!!
Our thoughts determines our Action!

Have you ever taken the moment to ponder on the words of God?

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Can you hear God saying to you I know the thoughts that I think toward you.
I know the plans I have for you.

God’s desire for you is for peace and not evil.
God’s desire is to give you a future and a hope.

As we read the bible we read on how the people of God had turned away from God’s way.
We also read in the bible however God does not turn away from them.
God had not terminated (cut off) dismissed his relationship with his people.

What are your thoughts?
When you wake up in the morning, do you think today?

What is going to happen to me today?

Do you long for significance?
Get with God.
Do you long for security?
Get with God.
Do you long for satisfaction?
Get with God.

At the end of your day, you put your hand across your forehead as sweat comes down and you say to your self the day is finally over!

(NOT)

You put your head on your pillow.
You can’t sleep.
You put your head on your pillow.
You can’t rest.

Your mind can’t shut down
You toss and turn all night!

Do you lack fulfillment?
Do you lack purpose in your Life?

Do you feel like your life is uneasy?
Do you find or see that your life is shifting and shaking all around you.
Unsettled like sand that goes through your hands.

Look at your life.
What do you see?

Do you deal with the same Issues over and over?

Then get with God!
Under the mighty hand of God.

I am your provision.
Bread sustains physical life and Spiritual Life.
Jesus offers and sustains Spiritual satisfaction.

Jesus said I am the Light of the World.
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

The world walks in darkness of sin.
Jesus offers himself as the light.
Jesus is the light of the world.
